This album was heavily inspired by "Społeczeństwo Paragon" ([The] Paragon Society), the only novel by Polish author Andrzej Niemczyk (1921-1970). It is a bleak, savage and frankly terrifying vision of the future in the same vein as "Brave New World" or "Nineteen Eighty-Four". It was written between 1965 and 1968, and eventually published in 2006.

Although much of the album was intended to be an application of the book's ideas to modern times rather than a direct homage, the term "Elektra disease" (dolegliwość Elektry) frequently occurs in the text itself.
